How to Take Accurate Measurements

What You Need

Flexible measuring tape (soft, not rigid metal)
Large mirror to see yourself
Someone to help you (recommended)
Tight-fitting clothes or underwear only

1. Chest (Bust)

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal and loose (not too tight).

Tip: Don't pull the tape tight, let it sit comfortably.

2. Waist

Find the narrowest part of your waist (usually above the navel) and measure around it.

Tip: Don't suck in your stomach, stand in a natural position.

3. Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.

Tip: This is usually about 20cm below your waist.

4. Sleeve Length

Measure from the tip of your shoulder to your wrist, with your arm naturally down by your side.

Tip: For 3/4 sleeves, measure to the middle of your forearm.
